Shea Hair Mask

1- BTMS 80 – Conditioning emulsifier that detangles, softens, and stabilizes the formula.

The Shea Hair Mask works through four synergistic pathways: 

1. Deep Nourishment & Repair 

• Shea butter, coconut oil, almond oil, and caprylic/capric triglycerides replenish lost lipids, restore softness, and repair damaged areas of the hair shaft. 
• These emollients penetrate the cortex and coat the cuticle, reducing breakage and brittleness. 

1. Hydration & Moisture Retention 

• Humectants like glycerin and propylene glycol draw water into the hair fiber, maintaining hydration. 
• This prevents dryness and improves elasticity. 

1. Conditioning & Cuticle Smoothing 

• Cationic agents (BTMS-80, PQ-7, PQ-10, guar hydroxypropyltriamonium chloride) bind to negatively charged keratin sites, smoothing the cuticle, reducing static, and improving manageability. 
• Silicones (dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, amodimethicone) form a protective film, enhancing shine, reducing friction, and sealing in moisture.

• Antioxidants (Vitamin E acetate, BHT) protect hair and oils from oxidative stress and environmental damage. 
• Citric acid maintains an acidic pH (~4.5–5.5), which helps close the cuticle for smoothness and shine.
